Mickey Goldberg

Born and raised in Orange, CT, Mickey graduated cum laude from Lafayette College in 1991 where he played varsity baseball and was a member of the Theta Delta Chi fraternity.  He then went on to earn his JD from the University of Illinois-Chicago School of Law in 1994.  After passing the Connecticut and New York Bar Exams, Mickey began his career in 1995 as an in-house corporate attorney at Classic Sports Network (now ESPN Classic) in New York City.  Over the next 20+ years he worked in a similar capacity for media outlets, marketing firms, and manufacturing companies where he gained valuable knowledge in the financial aspects of the various businesses.  This experience, which included corporate retirement plan and health insurance implementation, combined with a long-time interest in finance and investing, lead Mickey to make a career change and join BFS in 2019 where he concentrates primarily on long term investment strategies, asset allocation and portfolio construction, and retirement income planning.

Mickey currently resides in Trumbull, CT with Sheri, his wife of 25 years, and their two daughters Jordan and Sydney.  In his spare time, Mickey is a passionate fan of the New York Rangers and Jets and UConn basketball and also is an avid sports memorabilia collector.
